Art is hard to define. It is easier to define negatively than it is positively. I don't feel that art is distinct in any essential way from other forms of creative work, whether it is product design, science or mathematics.

Art as local culture. Situated in a place. We act, create, perform, face-to-face.

Each local festival invites artists to perform and create works that reflect the unique local history and culture of the area and connect to other communities around the world.
